A study by the University Aviation Association (UAA) explores consumer willingness to fly on electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. “The model with the highest agreement (88.7%) to be willing to fly on was the most conventional-looking aircraft, with many similarities to a gyrocopter or helicopter (example, Jaunt).” Additionally, the study stated, “The vehicle with the most unique type of powerplants resulted in the lowest reported WTF.” “Safety and cost were the top two concerns among all levels of WTF.”
